I’ve just finished playing about with the moog classic Popcorn. It’s not quite there – but sounding pretty meaty already. I’m getting hints of Add N to X – noisy fun none the less.

A little promo video all about the new Sunburst Band remix album (out yesterday, really good, 26 remixes, great value!) for our new friends at Zrecords featuring the legend that is Dave Lee AKA Joey Negro, Jakatta, Doug Willis, Raven Maize and some others. A thoroughly top man with some interesting insights into the album, amongst other things.

Another chilled out bit of electronica for you (I’ll have to get better at naming these, anyone would think I didn’t love them). Anyway, this one has been about for a while but still manages to hold my interest. I find I get very caught up in the minute details and manage to lose sight of the whole piece, and rather than being a bad thing, when I’ve finished with that small detail, the tune has become something I don’t entirely recognise. Which makes it more exciting to work on. For me anyway.

Here’s a (probably) not complete mix of a tune I’ve been playing with. REALLY chill out, glacial in fact. I’ll be posting a few more aural nuggets on here soon, new stuff and some bits from the archive.
